Saturday, December 22 Advent Reflection
Our Advent observance prepares our hearts to better recognize and receive the ways Jesus is present in our daily experience. Humility and simplicity are keys to that preparation because they make us vulnerable and open — we can’t hide behind pretense or appearances if we’re humble and simple. St. Mother Teresa was a great example of this humility and simplicity.
As the holiday and gift-giving rush reaches a peak this week, what is one way you might strive for simplicity or embrace humility?
