Monday, December 3 Advent Reflection
Prayer is nothing more than seeking God and being in His presence. There are many methods and disciplines for prayer, but, underneath it all, it’s as simple as clearing space in your mind and heart to be with God in some way.
St. Mother Teresa knew that this encounter in prayer is transformative because it puts us in touch with our deepest longings. Prayer also fulfills those longings because in it, we experience God’s loving presence. The keys are simplicity and repetition. Like a plant with deepening roots, our lives grow stronger and richer when they are planted in God’s presence.
Take a step to begin or deepen your prayer today.
