Kayla August
Kayla is a native of New Orleans with a passion for spreading love and justice. She serves the Notre Dame community as the rector of an all-women’s hall on campus. Kayla earned her bachelors from Loyola University of New Orleans, and then served for two years with Americorps. She earned a master’s degree in pastoral counseling and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in preaching. Serving others is a core part of her life, and she shares her summers with kids in need of specialized care, especially those who are facing disease.
