Sarah Cortez
Sarah Cortez is founder and president of Catholic Literary Arts. A professional writer and editor, educator, and public speaker, she is a fellow of the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Her work has appeared in Rattle, Texas Monthly, Chiron Review, The Sun, Presence, and Catholic Arts Today, among others. Winner of awards such as, the PEN Texas Award in Poetry, the Southwest Book Award, and multiple International Latino Book Awards, Ms. Cortez has authored and/or edited 13 volumes.
