Katie Ekblad Traver is a Michigan local who loves to tell stories and drink good coffee — ideally at the same time. Before becoming a writer, Katie earned a bachelor’s degree in music and communications from Ave Maria University in southwest Florida. Today, Katie works as a communications specialist with a non-profit organization and greatly enjoys any work that involves making life easier for others.
