March 25 is the Feast of the Annunciation.
Believe it or not, we are exactly nine months away from Christmas, which means Catholics celebrate the conception of Jesus in Mary’s womb with today's feast of the Annunciation.
We get the story of the Annunciation from the Gospel of Luke. An angel came to Mary to tell her God's plan for her to be the mother of the Messiah. Mary, although confused, responded with a life-changing “yes” to God's invitation. In fact, her fiat changed history, because she brought the Son of God into the world.
Mary’s willingness to say “yes,” is an example for all of us of a life lived boldly, humbly, and obediently. We created this Spotify playlist to inspire us all to follow Mary’s example by opening our lives to God and His designs.
