Nicole Caldwell: Walking the dogs is fantastic. During the volunteer shifts for them to be able to get out and go see the park, it means a lot, like, it’s their life, you know, it’s the best part of their day probably.
There’s all different ways to help, I’ve seen multiple shelters where people come, and they just give baths.
I found a lot of the current people that I know now, just via following these groups on Facebook. So social media’s a great way to get started in seeing what’s out there and what fits best for you.
