A Message to Our Community

Grotto Network has some news to share.

Created by the University of Notre Dame in 2017, Grotto Network sought to reach young people everywhere in the U.S. to encourage them to reconnect with their faith. Seeing that the need was great, the University defined Grotto’s target audiences as broadly as possible. While Grotto has done important work, the University has recognized the need to refocus its efforts.

For now, the University will focus on outreach to its own graduates, encouraging them to connect to parishes and faith communities wherever they find themselves and providing resources to help them do so. Of course, the fact that it’s time for a new approach doesn’t take away from the incredible work of the Grotto team and the tremendous support of our followers and community. Thank YOU for your support of Grotto, whether you’ve been a follower from the start or just found us. We are forever grateful to all those who have shared their stories, their work, their lives. We will miss you!

Starting on July 1, Grotto’s social channels will remain online but inactive, and our website will remain up until February 2025.

If you are interested in receiving daily spiritual reflections and more, we recommend the FaithND website from our colleagues at the Notre Dame Alumni Association.

On behalf of all of us at Grotto Network, thank you again for all of your support. It has meant the world to us.
